The Conference will focus on The Future and examine opportunities to transition the industry into a broader mining context. It will also address the biggest single concern, especially in relation to energy efficiency focusing attention on Small Modular Reactors and other energy sources including wind and wave. A question we will be asking is whether the future of Desalination is the next offshore industry.

The world population in 1980 was 4.4 billion people. Today it is 8.1. We head towards continued population growth and have the added burden of Global Warming.
