Online boron measurement & control in desalination plants

Boron is one of the parameters that WHO forces to control in drinking water. In warm seas, boron has to be reduced, at least, half concentration. Boron is determined in laboratories by a colorimetric method, with the reagent handicap, extremely temperature sensitive. It makes difficult to replicate it into an online analyzer. However, Instru has developed a way to control online boron, to optimize the treatment process, as well as helpful equipment to achieve a cost-efficient desalination plant.
